Getting Organized

At our house, I’m the one that does all the grocery shopping. When I first began grocery shopping, I would go off my memory. My wife, Sarah would rattle off the things we needed, and I memorized the list. Then I would get to the store and begin going through the mental list in my head. I would forget something 100% of the time. Then I would have to go back to the store and buy the missing items. Also, my shopping trip took a very long time. I would go to one section of the store and pick up some items. Then while I was in another part of the store, I would remember an item that I had forgotten and would have to go back to the aisles.

When I went to the store without a list, I was buying needless items. I would come home with some onions and then realize we already had 4 onions in the refrigerator.

At the end of the week, we were throwing away a lot of food that went bad. Then I got smart and began writing a shopping list.

My shopping time was cut in half and the amount of food that we threw away at the end of the week went down dramatically.

Getting an organized plan is always the best way to start any project.

Dentistry is no different. Many people have moments where they fall off their dental health care. It happens to everyone.

Some patients will get nervous thinking they are going to need a lot of work because of their dental health care absence.

A lot of times this makes a person feel overwhelmed.

The best way to overcome that feeling of being overwhelmed is to get a good plan in place. Make a checklist and get the most important things done first. Soon you’ll notice that things are getting done and soon enough, you’re all fixed up with a clean and healthy mouth.
