The number one thing that I love about my job is the relationships that I’ve developed throughout the years with my patients.
I feel a connection with my patients when they share their stories with me. I hear about their kids, their spouses, their schooling, and their goals. And, in turn, I share my life stories with them.
It’s a bond that you don’t always associate with dentists and patients. Many people associate dentistry with discomfort and pain.
We always try to connect with people and help them have a better experience in the chair and with us.
This then helps people have a more positive feeling with their own dental care at home. And they might even enjoy a visit to the dentist. LOL.
That positive connection extended itself in the form of an invitation from my patient.
One of my family's favorite past memories is when our patient, Evan, invited us to fly with him. He's a a pilot and shared that amazing experience with us.
Last weekend, I was able to attend and share in some new memories at the celebration of Evan, and his new bride, Daniela’s wedding. It was so fun and enjoyable.
It’s great to develop relationships with our patients and be able to share special moments with them.
I’d like to congratulate Evan and Daniela, and I was honored to be able to share that special moment with them.
