Last week, I attended Dr. Peter Cabrera’s retirement party.
In my life, I’ve had a handful of people who have influenced my dental career.
I can’t think of anyone who has influenced my career more than Peter Cabrera.
I’ve been working with Pete for over 20 years. I would speak to Pete about 3 times a week.
Our offices shared hundreds of patients and our offices soon became like one office.
Our staff and Dr. Cabrera’s staff speak multiple times a day, exchanging information with our mutual patients.
Pete gave me a great understanding of gum health and how to achieve it. He gave me an understanding of achieving predictable results.
Dr. Cabrera made me a better dentist and a better practice owner.
Dr. Cabrera loves his patients and did not sell his practice to just anyone. He hand selected Dr. Sabzehei. He wanted to make sure his patients were going to be taken care of. Dr. Sabzehei and Dr. Cabrera began practicing together over 5 years ago.
He wanted to make sure that Dr. Sabzehei was the right fit for his patients and the right fit for his referring doctors.
Dr. Sabzehei and I have been working together for over 5 years now. Every 6 weeks, Dr. Sabzehei, Dr. Cabrera, and about 10 other dentists will go over cases together.
Our study club has been going for 10 years now. I've learned a lot in the study club and it helps me coordinate patients' treatment with our specialists.
The same way Dr. Cabrera practiced dentistry is the same way Dr. Sabzehei practices. She is just as particular and as talented as Dr. Cabrera.
I have the utmost respect and trust to continue to send my patients to Dr. Sabzehei, as a periodontal specialist. I know she will continue to care for my patients the way Dr. Cabrera has and the way that I do.
